Green Star Restaurant is an enviormental orgnization that helps responsible restaurant managers, owners and operations to reduce their negative impact on our environment.

Green Star Restaurants have made a commitment to our environment, our natural resources, and to reducing our dependancy on foeign oil. The owners and managers of each restaurant that carries the Green Star Restaurant seal has pledged to make a steady pace of changes to use less energy and to reduce their overall impact on our planet.

We are all living on the same small planet, and we want our children and grandchildren to inherit a cleaner and more sustainable planet earth. In the last 100 years humans have done tremendous harm to our environment in the name of progress, at the same time we have become more dependant on expensive foreign fuel. Our goal is to eliminate that dependency, and to slow the rate of damage to our environment. Hopefully one day we will be able to reverse the impact of what has already been done.

Between the United States and Canada there are over one million restaurants, our goal is to get them all to significantly reduce their impact on our environment.
